I was waiting the google play website has be ready to sell their Nexus 4 phone. Finally the “Notify Me” button was changed to “Add to Cart” from its site. However, it didn’t work out to checkout from its shopping cart.
It made me think many people hit google play website at the same time. I’ve been kept trying to check out but it returned with an error message and removed an item in the cart.
With all those issues and problems, the checkout process had been through successfully and they have charged me $396.57 for the 16GB model. And it included tax and shipping too. The order confirmation email indicated the phone will be delivered in couple days.
However, I have got an email from google as below in this afternoon and I have to wait 3 more weeks from now on.
What a painful waiting time to get a new phone from google! They have to change the way of selling the Nexus phone in different way than what they have it right now.
