I used send email as the hotmail account in gmail application without any issue for many years. Then it hasn’t been sending email as the hotmail account recently with below errors.

I was trying to resetting the hotmail account at the gmail setting section but it was kept on failing.
The setting was smtp.live.com for the smtp server and port was 25 initially which was working fine till recent time.
This should be edited as below new server and port information
- smtp server : smtp-mail.outlook.com
- port : 587
Then it has been working properly now.
You will need to go gmail setting as below image first.
Then change the SMTP server name and port number as below image;
Then everything will be fine from now on.
