Effective September 1, 2021, when visiting Korea, you must apply for and be issued an Korea Electronic Travel Authorization (K-ETA)

The Korea Electronic Travel Authorization (K-ETA), which has been piloting since May 2021, will now officially start on September 1st. The fee is 10,000 won per person. It is less than 10 USD. Allowed period of Stay : 90 Days

The items required when applying for a Korea electronic travel authorization (K-ETA: Korea Electronic Travel Authorization) are as follows.

  1. A person who does not have a valid Korean visa
  2. A person intending to enter the country for the purpose of tourism, visiting relatives, participating in events or meetings, and business(other than profitable activities)
  3. A person who plans a short-term stay in Korea for business or tourism purpose.

The electronic travel permit is valid for 90 days, so you can prepare in advance even if you do not confirm your flight ticket.

  1. Valid passport
  2. Valid e-mail address
  3. Face image photo (For PC, image file. For mobile application, photo taken by mobile device camera during application.)
  4. Credit or debit card (The fee is 10,000 won.)
