There are many Korean restaurants here in Chicago and its surrounding areas. However, unlike in Los Angeles or New York, there are no large-scale or specialized Korean restaurants.
A long time ago, there were successful restaurants in Korea and the United States, such as Woo Rae-ok, but they did not last long.
There are many cases where Koreans who live here or who come from Korea to the United States as tourists look for a good Korean restaurant, but either give up because there is no suitable place, or regret it after stopping by.
There have been many times when we invited foreign guests here and were disappointed because the service and food were poor.
To prepare for these things, I would like to introduce Korean restaurants that I have visited that are overall recommended in terms of service and food.
